About the Client

Who is SY Aesthetics?

SY Aesthetics is a plastic surgery and aesthetic practice serving New York City and Middletown. Its growth model spans high-consideration surgical procedures, non-surgical treatments, two local markets, and a patient journey that can take multiple interactions before a consultation is booked.

That meant growth could not be managed through isolated channel metrics. Search rankings, social engagement, email opens, and platform leads mattered only when they contributed to stronger patient intent, completed consultations, and surgical outcomes.

The Challenge

The Challenge

Lead volume was visible. Lead quality and revenue impact were harder to see.

SY Aesthetics had active acquisition and retention channels, but each one told a different story. Google and Meta reported leads. SEO reported rankings and clicks. Social reported reach and engagement. Email reported opens and clicks. The intake process held the information closest to revenue: bookings, completed consultations, and recorded surgical cases.

Several issues limited growth:

  • Branded demand and new-patient acquisition were blended in reporting.
  • New York City and Middletown required different procedure priorities, creative, and local intent strategies.
  • Platform conversion events did not consistently distinguish a low-intent inquiry from a consultation opportunity.
  • A website migration reduced important procedure content and disrupted organic paths.
  • Email, SMS, social, and paid creative were not yet operating from one audience-learning system.
  • Website forms and analytics needed cleaner source, location, intent, and successful-submission tracking.
  • Media decisions were being made too close to cost per lead and too far from completed consultations and recorded cases.

The opportunity was to build one growth system that could acquire demand, nurture it, improve lead quality, and show which channels and procedure lines were moving closest to revenue.

Demand Segmentation

How we split demand by market, procedure, and intent

Market

New York City vs. Middletown

Two local markets with different procedure priorities, creative, and local-intent strategies — reported and budgeted separately.

Procedure family

Surgical vs. non-surgical

Eyelids, Mommy Makeover and tummy tuck, liposculpture, breast surgery, facelift and neck lift, and Fotona each carry a different consideration cycle.

Demand type

Branded vs. new-patient

Branded search was separated from new-patient acquisition so account performance could be evaluated honestly.

Intent stage

Research-stage vs. consultation-ready

Separate hot-lead, research-stage, procedure, and location segments drove nurture, follow-up cadence, and creative.

Our Solution

How we connected the channels around the patient journey

Brenton Way restructured paid-media decision-making around location, procedure family, intent, and downstream outcomes. Google Search was used to capture existing procedure and local demand. Meta supported demand generation, creative testing, retargeting, and lead acquisition. Branded search was separated from new-patient acquisition so account performance could be evaluated more honestly.

The team reviewed Search against Performance Max, lead forms against landing-page paths, and campaign results across New York City and Middletown. Primary conversion definitions were tightened to favor higher-intent actions, while forms and routing were assessed for the context needed by intake. Media reporting was reconciled beyond the ad platforms: Google- and Meta-sourced leads were connected to booked consultations, completed consultations, and recorded surgical cases.

SEO: recover lost visibility and capture high-intent local demand

Brenton Way built the organic program around the questions prospective patients ask before elective care: procedure fit, recovery, outcomes, provider credibility, location, and next steps. After the move from Webflow to WordPress reduced content and disrupted legacy paths, the team completed a page-level migration audit and prioritized recovery work:

  • Compared old and new pages by search intent.
  • Mapped one-to-one redirects for high-value legacy URLs.
  • Protected the existing educational article library.
  • Rebuilt procedure and location relevance for New York City and Middletown.
  • Improved metadata, headings, schema, image handling, internal links, and clinical-review requirements.
  • Verified the active sitemap and representative redirects after implementation.

Social media: turn provider expertise into demand and creative intelligence

Content centered on physicians and staff, direct patient questions, procedure education, recovery expectations, local relevance, results with appropriate consent, and native Spanish-language concepts. A native Meta audit showed that recognizable people, specific concerns, bilingual execution, and educational formats generated the strongest response. Winning audience language and content themes became inputs for paid creative, email campaigns, landing pages, and SEO content.

Email and SMS: nurture interest across a long consideration cycle

The program included roughly 90 campaigns and 13 lifecycle flows, with most of those flows live at the documented reporting point: paths for new leads, consultation nurture, procedure education, reactivation, location-specific communication, non-openers, and SMS follow-up. Forms were upgraded to preserve source and location context, reduce unnecessary friction, and capture scheduling intent.

Website and CRO: remove friction from every acquisition channel

The team repaired critical consultation and mobile-navigation paths, corrected duplicate conversion counting, restored relevant redirects, optimized sitewide media, and aligned successful-form events across GA4, Google Ads, and Meta. The first homepage performance phase reduced mobile page weight by about 70% and eliminated the measured layout shift in the comparison. More than 800 images were converted to modern formats, four galleries were repaired, and the active sitemap was verified without broken responses.

Measurement Model

Reporting that follows the patient, not the channel

  1. Demand
  2. Lead
  3. Intake follow-up
  4. Booked consultation
  5. Completed consultation
  6. Recorded surgical case

Operating Principles

The methodology

Brenton Way created a shared performance view across media, web analytics, forms, and intake records. Instead of presenting each channel as an independent success, reporting followed the patient journey from demand to lead to booked consultation to completed consultation to recorded surgical case.

  • Lead quality became visible, and so did where growth was limited by media, messaging, landing-page friction, response time, follow-up, scheduling, or consultation attendance.
  • Revenue decisions used the furthest reliable patient-stage evidence while offline conversion and CRM integration kept improving.
  • Consultation rows are event-month activity and recorded cases are CRM-linked records — a reconciled operational view, not a strict lead cohort or incrementality study.
  • Creative and messaging carried production controls for medical claims, personal-attribute language, patient consent, before-and-after imagery, and location accuracy.
The results

Measurable impact

Marketing-attributed revenue increased 5X in one year

The connected acquisition and retention program helped SY Aesthetics increase marketing-attributed revenue fivefold over the one-year campaign period. That growth came from a diversified channel system rather than one isolated tactic: paid media created and captured demand, SEO expanded high-intent discovery, social built trust and supplied creative intelligence, email and SMS nurtured prospective patients, and website improvements reduced friction between interest and consultation.

Across eight complete months, Brenton Way reconciled nearly 2,000 paid-source leads with more than 470 booked consultations, more than 360 completed consultations, and nearly 90 recorded surgical cases. About 77% of booked consultations were recorded as completed, while recorded surgical cases equaled roughly one quarter of completed consultations in the reconciled view.

Organic search moved from the low 30s to near page-one visibility

Average Google position improved by about 74% during the documented reporting period, moving from the low 30s to just over position eight. Organic click-through rate also increased by about 74%. The program generated more than 200,000 search impressions and nearly 4,000 clicks, while local SEO work helped a priority Middletown query reach the top result.

Lifecycle engagement more than doubled

Weighted email open rate increased by about 105% between the early and later campaign cohorts. Brenton Way built 13 lifecycle flows, established a disciplined campaign rhythm, and introduced more useful segmentation by location, procedure interest, and stage of intent. The strongest upgraded forms converted in the low-to-mid teens.

Social content reached more than 50,000 accounts in 30 days

A managed 30-day Instagram snapshot recorded more than 50,000 accounts reached, more than 4,000 profile views, more than 1,000 engaged accounts, and about 2,000 interactions. The audit identified the provider-led, bilingual, and procedure-specific creative patterns that could be reused across paid media, email, landing pages, and organic search.

What changed

SY Aesthetics moved from a collection of channel activities to a connected acquisition and retention program.

  • Paid media captured and created demand by market and procedure.
  • SEO built durable visibility for high-intent patient questions.
  • Social established trust and revealed the messages audiences responded to.
  • Email and SMS nurtured prospects who were not ready to book immediately.
  • Website and CRO improvements reduced friction at the point of conversion.
  • Downstream reporting connected spend to lead quality, completed consultations, surgical outcomes, and revenue decisions.

For a high-consideration healthcare practice, growth does not come from one channel operating in isolation. It comes from paid acquisition, organic visibility, provider-led content, lifecycle nurture, conversion infrastructure, and intake data working as one system. Brenton Way helped SY Aesthetics make that system measurable — from first interaction to recorded surgical case.
